Problem Note 54590: Performance degradation occurs in SAS® 9.4 TS1M1

Starting with SAS 9.4 TS1M1, users have reported that various SAS procedures consume considerably more CPU—in some cases as much as 300% more CPU. System monitoring tools identify a large amount of CPU time associated with SVC 120 (GETMAIN/FREEMAIN system calls). In SAS 9.4 TS1M0 and earlier, the monitoring tools do not show SVC 120 as being a significant part of the CPU usage.
There is no circumvention for this issue.
